So there is nearly 24 hours before we welcome 2008 into our lives, and I for one am dying for a new year. 2007 has to be one of the worst I’ve ever been through but at the same time, I’m thankful for this year in so many years.I’m happy that 2007 has wizzed by and hopefully that is a good sign that 2008 will be a better year. I have many plans and goals that I wish to achieve in 2008, I’m excited, nervous, scared, hopeful yet I can’t wait to see how my life will plan out.

So, to welcome 2008 (which hopefully will be a good year), I made a little quick change to my blog to welcome ‘New Beginnings’, with the header featuring Liv Tyler and a very emotional quote “Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn’t fall in love or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it’s comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart” . I do believe that my past has made me who I am today and made me learn from past experiences to ensure that my next steps are taken the new found wisdom based on past events.

My resolutions are:
01. Graduate
02. Play guitar
03. Keep in touch with friends all over the world more
04. Follow my heart and do what I’ve always planned to do
05. Head to Paris for some relaxation time
06. Start taking my medication properly
07. Brush up on my Arabic & French
08. Visit Dubai for the summer
09. Save $$
10. Never let good for nothin’ guys into my life- ANYMORE!
11. Buy as many gadgets as I can
12. Be Happy

Tomorrow will be a crazy day, I’m going to the salon to do my hair, then need to go buy some last minute accessories for my outfit, then heading to a french restaurant for dinner then to a party in a huge hotel nearby and I’m getting majorly dressed up to say goodbye to the year from hell.
